If the eyes are the windows to your soul, then your windows are the eyes to your home.

An open window is an invitation for energies to enter your home.  Who knows, you might find great wealth energy entering your home!

If your home is dark, lacking natural light, overshadowed by nearby buildings, then don't let these life forces go by your home; get clever with lighting your home.

Positive / Yang energies are attracted to bright light and warm areas.  So avoid overhead lighting, which is harsh and creates a downward pressure on our heads.

If you cannot change your lighting fixtures, or you are renting, use daylight incandescent globes in your regular fixtures.  These globes are tinted blue and colour correct the room giving a bright daylight look.

Use up-lighting or lamps at floor level.  Strategically placed, lamps in dark corners dispel the dead energies that collect there.  Up-lighting is moody, inviting and seductive, you won't know the difference it makes to your home until you've experienced it

If you have a feature wall, use reflected lighting (light directed onto wall surfaces) to give the whole room a beautiful glow.  Use Halogen light to accent and spotlight artwork.  Halogen light is close to daylight and brings interest to any space. Avoid fluorescent lights, which emit electromagnetic rays.
